This policy explains how Tradyab collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our platform. We aim for plain language over legalese, and we treat your data as something you've lent us, not given away.

You give us

• Account details: name, email, username and password.
• Profile content: bio, avatar, posts, signals and comments.
• Payment details for Yab Credits, processed by our PCI-compliant payment partners (we don't store full card numbers).

We collect automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, signals followed.
• Device & log data: IP address, browser, device type, timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy).

• To run the platform - your feed, signals, tipping, credits and Academy.
• To keep accounts secure and detect fraud or abuse.
• To improve the product and personalise what you see.
• To communicate with you about your account and, with consent, product news.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), your consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for compliance).

We share data with vetted processors - hosting, analytics, payments, email and customer support - who act on our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews - though no system is ever perfectly secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Tradyab is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
